Hi there

I did something like this out ine the wilderness once.

Except I put the carrot somewhere else, if you know what I mean. . It tickled me to see that little deer nibbling on that carrot.

The park ranger didn't get such a kick out of it and when the "traumatized" children, as he called them, left the park he took what was left of that carrot and shoved it in a not so nice place.
Live and learn I guess.

Things That Touch Me

The first book that touched me, was the Dr Seuss' book Green Eggs and Ham.
Boy he sure taught me to look at things a different way. Those eggs looked nasty, but then I realized that just because something looks bad, it doesn't mean it is. I bet those eggs tasted just fine. The ham, well sometimes ham has that shiny rainbow green glow to it, you know? Real pretty. Life is like that sometimes.

Creatures I look up to

This is a special world we have here. All the creatures are special. When I am in the forest I always look out for my little forest friends, hiding somewhere. Could be in the bushes, the little racoons and old possums 'n' stuff all live up in there. Squirrels in trees, mean old' crows, they're not really mean, that's just natures way, up in the tree branches. All my little friends.
Here's one little rascal, tried to bite my big toe off when I accidentally kicked him.

True Story

I used to go to my uncles log cabin all the time. There would be little bunnies running around and I would always try to catch them, but never quite could. I asked my uncle about it. He told me a trick he learned. He said if I wanted to catch a rabbit, I needed to go to the back of the cabin and make carrot noises. So I did. Then he came up and grabbed me. Still haven't...haven't quite figured that one out.
He has very soft hands for an older guy though.
